Thank you for this article though I suspect the people who need it the most won’t read it!

I’ve found that when I’ve tried to show a different point of view and kept respectful then other commenters will then attack me with the same vitriol.

The worst comment I ever received was from an African-American telling me to go back to India and how Indians are primitive all because I said that different subgroups of non-white people face different pressures.

Ironically, I was making the point that African-Americans have the worst brunt of biases so those are the most critical to help.

Though it made me angry, I decided that not replying was the best thing for my mental health.
