I have always been a little bit of an old soul in ways but find every year I am slightly more grown up than the last.

The thing about British university culture is true. People get sucked into a damaging cycle to fit in. Every week is a new regret because doing your own thing can be scary. It's awesome you opened up about it.

I agree with you about finding role models but I think it's also about the people we already have. It's sad when people turn a blind eye to bad paths their friends are starting because it's scary to confront. We can choose to be role models for each other. As you said, we can learn from those more advanced and less advanced than us.

I'm 28 too and I think I'm the best version of myself I've ever been.
